Coverup/Correction

So, is this Microblading?

No. “Powder Brows” is a form of permanent makeup, using a machine to deposit pigment adding depth and dimension to your brows, unlike microblading which uses a manual tool to cut “hairstrokes” into the skin. This technique creates small pixels that heal to a soft, powder-like result, even though there’s no actual powder used. The “ombre” or gradient starts dark at the tails of the brows and gradually lightens towards the bulbs/fronts of the brows. It is perfect for all skin types, even oily skin. It’s less invasive than manual microblading and can last up to 3 years depending on your skin type and life style. Whether you have sparse or full brow hairs, it will not damage them.

Each client will have a thorough consultation, custom brow mapping, custom color matching, and an aftercare kit.

What if I already have previous brow work?

Coverup, Correction or Removal

If you’ve had previous feathering/microblading/shading, tattooing on your brows, please send photos so we can assess whether a Cover Up or Correction is needed. Old brows that have discolored to red/blue/purple/orange/green, etc. will have to be color-corrected before covering them up. If previous work is too saturated/dark/thick we will start with Saline lightening/removal sessions. However, a laser removal elsewhere is often faster.

Saline Lightening/Removal

This procedure uses a highly concentrated saline solution and tattoo machine to push pigment up and out of the skin. A typical client will need at least 3-5 sessions depending on how saturated the pigment is and how well the skin responds to the procedure. If more than 6 sessions is likely, a laser removal elsewhere is highly encouraged.
